Canada Day Holiday

Please note that we will be closed on Monday, July 3 for the Canada Day Holiday.  The only class that will be running that day is the 9:45am Pilates class as usually scheduled.  Yes, we will be open on Saturday, July 1 with ALL classes running as scheduled.

 

Jo Ashwell teaching a workshop @ YBS!

One of our beloved and long time instructors, Jo Ashwell, will be visiting Niagara for a few days and will be teaching a workshop on Saturday, July 8 from 2p-4p.  She is calling the workshop “The Ecstatic Spine”!  There will be a $20 donation at the door for this workshop.  Jo moved to BC almost a year ago to get married – so this is a great opportunity to visit with her and experience her teachings again.  I am looking forward to it!  We are capping this workshop at 24 people, and we already have 16 people signed-up.  So, please e-mail us, call us or stop by the front desk to let us know your intention of coming.

 

Another Kirtan with Dhvani

We are hosting another Kirtan with our friends Dhvani on Friday, July 21 from 7p-9p.  We had a Kirtan with them a few months ago, and we had a fabulous time… I think the studio is still vibrating from it… J  Cost is $20 + gst for this event.  You can find more details about it on our website www.yogabysarah.com on the Workshops page.  Please pre-register with us by e-mail, phone or at the front desk!

Sarah taking courses at Landmark Education

As I have shared with many of you, I have been traveling to Toronto the past couple months for some programs that I have been doing at Landmark Education. www.landmarkeducation.com I have just recently started the third program of their curriculum, the Self Expression and Leadership Program.  I will be up there some Saturdays and most Tuesday and Thursday evenings for the next three or so months.  As part of my program, I will be organizing a community project, which I have chosen to do in partnership with the proposed Commonplace Eco-village.  You can visit their website at www.commonplace-ecovillage.ca for more information on their proposed sustainable and “off-the-grid” village.  I will be sharing with you in the coming time what my project and role will be, and I will be asking for your assistance… so stay tuned for details!
